On Wednesday, October 26, 2016 Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Red Bank hosted the Halloween Costume Party and Spotlight. This fun, family-oriented event brought out the ghosts, the ghouls, and the kid in all of us! Over 30 guests enjoyed the festivities complete with dancing, games, and good food.
The event featured 10 spotlight performances with students in a variety of levels and styles. Our spotlight performers shared their knowledge and mastery of the Fred Astaire techniques while displaying their progress and enjoyment of dance for all to see. Guests were treated to performances highlighting students who are just beginning their dancing journeys as well as seasoned performers who are veterans on the dance floor.
This event was a night to remember complete with a “Get This Party Started Group Class” that welcomed all levels and all ages to the studio. There were games and a costume contest. First prize was awarded to Aaron who dressed as Fred Astaire! The close second was Camille who was a very convincing flapper!
We are grateful for our thriving community. In our new location, we have increased our clientele and people are coming out in droves. It’s fun. It’s family-oriented. Everyone has a good time.
As we prepare for our next event, The Holiday Showcase and Ugly Sweater Contest, we hope to continue our dancing journey with you by our side.
Happy Halloween from our studio family to yours!
