Remember that powder blue tuxedo your date rented? Your girlfriend’s big hair? Oh, wasn’t prom night in the 1980s a thing of, well, teen beauty? Yeah, we have pictures as well. We hide them from the kids.
But we DO have memories of great times and great music, and we want to bring all of that back for you at our ‘80s Prom Night Practice Party on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. at the Scottsdale studio. You don’t want to miss this blast from the past!
Unlike your real prom, you don’t need tickets. Or a tux. But if you can dress the part of a 1980s prom queen or king, you just go right ahead and knock yourself out. Don’t forget all that cool ‘80s lingo – airhead, dweeb, tubular, yuppie and buppie. Remember the great bands of the ‘80s – Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, The Bangles, Def Leppard? We’ll take you back in time.
There’s nothing quite like dancing for a complete physical, social and psychological workout. Dancing isn’t just about the steps and music. Dancing enhances your life in so many ways: Health, Confidence, Self-Expression, Social, Relaxation, and Fun. What better way to enjoy all the benefits of dance than going back in time to the awesome ‘80s?
