Dancing With the Stars Eliminates First Contestant

Dancing With the Stars has eliminated its first contestant.

Mary Wilson and her pro, Brandon Armstrong, are the first pair out of the competition. The judges had to choose between them and Ray Lewis and his partner, Cheryl Burke. In the end, the judges saved Ray and Cheryl.

Do you agree with this elimination? Both of their routines Monday night were a little rough, so the judges had a tough decision to make.

Week 2 held some surprises for me. I was impressed with Kate Flannery’s Foxtrot and Sailor Brinkley-Cook’s Rumba because of the improvement from their first routine. I’m excited to see what they do in week 3.

The highlight of the night? Hannah Brown’s Viennese Waltz. Her extensions were beautiful and she looked so elegant throughout the dance. I would have liked to see her footwork more grounded (less on the balls of her feet), but she did a wonderful job.

Do you agree? Who was your favorite?
