Meet our Prince Freddy, Our Fred Astaire\u2019s adorable mascot. He\u2019s a male mix breed of pure active chihuahua and lovely temper dachshund.\u00a0 Little Freddy was born January 6, 2012, the same day as Southbury Fred Astaire\u2019s first practice party, so we consider it kismet that we found each other.<\/p>\n
Adopted from a mobile animal shelter care on Monday, when Hurricane Sandy blew through Connecticut, he considers himself a survivor. But he is also a party animal in the true sense of the word. \u201cI love Southbury and that\u2019s why I\u2019m very excited to be here to play with everyone and enjoy all the dancing around,\u201d barked Freddy, with those big puppy dog eyes.<\/p>\n
Sure he\u2019s cute, but did you also know that he\u2019s a server at Trumbull Cheesecake Factory and works out to the \u201cHamilton\u201d soundtrack? Yes, he is very active and loves to be taken to go for long walks in the dog parks.\u00a0He has participated in numerous studio\u2019s events, team matches, showcases and many dance parties.
