All the Dance Classes Happening this Month

You’re never too old to learn to dance. And you are never too young, either.

Your Fred Astaire Dance Studio of St. Petersburg Central offers a variety of dance classes for adults and for kids, classes that teach not only dance but social grace while breeding confidence and helping build relationships.

Dance is such a positive experience. It’s a creative outlet, a passion and a great way to stay in shape. It helps you engage with a group of people who share similar interests and you can do that in a low-pressure atmosphere. Your membership at the studio will keep you plugged into the community – we are very active and take part in many events around town.

So here are our classes adults will enjoy. There’s quite a variety and something for everybody. Come on out and dance!

  • Social Foundation – Mondays at 7 p.m.
  • Bronze Smooth Waltz with Alexander – Mondays at 7 p.m.
  • Beginners – Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
  • Latin Cha Cha with Sergey – Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
  • Standard Quickstep with Alexander – 7 p.m.
  • West Coast Swing – Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Now, how about the youngsters? Does your child enjoy music and movement? Would you like to turn this into a skill that lasts for a lifetime? Would you like your child to have an outlet, a fun exercise and a creative, challenging activity for body and mind? Build confidence, coordination, balance, rhythm and make new friends and learn good manners that come along with ballroom and hip hop dance classes?

Our Youth Program is designed to teach all levels and ages starting from 5-16 and introduce them to the wonderful world of dancing. Our instructors are highly trained and board certified. Our studio environment is very welcoming and all our teachers are very skilled working with that age.

We offer:

  • Kids Ballroom – Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
  • Kids Hip Hop – Fridays at 5:30 p.m.

As we said, you’re never too old to learn to dance. And you’re never too young. Check out what we have to offer in our dance classes at Fred Astaire of St. Petersburg Central.
