Inviting All Military Personnel To Join Us!

We’ll be celebrating Memorial Day later in May, and that is a commemoration of those who paid the ultimate price to defend our country, our rights and our freedom.

We owe much to our great military and we thank the brave men and women of the armed forces for their service. We’re always mindful of these folks, as we are the closest Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa. Now we’ve got a way to thank our, soldiers past and present, for all they’ve done and all they will do.

We’re providing a 50% off Introductory Offer for military personnel: Two private dance lessons, one group class, one practice party for only $25 instead of $50.

We already have many students at the studio who are in the military. They feel dance lessons are beneficial to them in many ways, and we would like more to discover dance not only for their enjoyment but their physical and mental health.

Dance has been shown to have therapeutic value for veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and/or anxiety. Dancing can help them cope with PTSD’s effects in a healthy, fun way. https://www.voanews.com/a/veterans-music-dancing-ptsd-symptoms/3657969.html

FADS studios in San Antonio have had great success with their initiative, giving vets a wonderful way to channel their energies and continue the healing process. Some become quite proficient on the dancefloor!

Tell your friends who serve or have served about our offer. We’ll be getting the word out as well. This is a program that is good for all and all for their good. Many different styles of dance (tango, salsa) offer an opportunity for therapy as well as a good time. And you know us – we’re all about offering the best in private ballroom dance instruction and group ballroom dance classes.

Salute a vet today. Thank her or him for serving. And don’t forget to mention Fred Astaire Dance Studio of St. Pete North and its special 50% off introductory program for military personnel!
