Eat, Dance, and be Scary!

We love the cooler temperatures that autumn brings, and so we try to make our already cool parties that much cooler.

We’ve got a good one coming up at the Stone Oak studio on Friday, Oct., 13, at 8 p.m. as we prepare for that fall treat known as Halloween.

This is our Costume Potluck Party. It’s a lot of fun.

We’ll be giving away prizes for the best costumes, so here’s your chance to dress up as Wonder Woman or Spiderman or design an outfit of your own. Be as creative as you like – show that same spirit that you exhibit on the dance floor.

The potluck portion? That’s self-explanatory. Please bring your favorite dish to share – let people see how creative you can be in the kitchen as well. Chili mac? Swedish meatballs? Cocktail weenies? Yum. We won’t be sending leftovers home with anyone, we can promise you. And we’ll have prizes for different categories of food as well.

So start thinking about that costume, whether you’re buying one or renting one or making it yourself. And get out the cookbook and find us a recipe that will dazzle at the Costume Potluck Party at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Stone Oak on Friday, Oct. 13, at 8 p.m.

If we don’t see you, we’re going to assume you were there and you were dressed as the Invisible Man (and did a darn good job of it). We would much prefer to see you in a costume, strolling in with a smile and a tasty dish to share.

Don’t forget that our annual Team Match will also be taking place this month! Join us on October 22nd at 2 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa in San Marcos.  Our students will be dancing their entries to earn points for their Studios team. This is a huge spirit rally and we need you to help us join in on the fun! Studio with the highest point count wins top studio.
