Sarah Kathryn is a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ronald Reagan High School. She is attending University of Incarnate Word where she received a Presidential scholarship and is studying Pre Nursing. She hopes to get into the nursing program next Fall. She has been dancing since she was two years old in all types of traditional dance including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary. She has performed and completed with On Pointe and Show Stoppers on several different competition dance teams. She has also danced for the Special Olympics on several occasions and performed in the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington DC. Sarah Kathryn decided to give ballroom dancing a try when she moved to San Antonio with her family 3 years ago. She absolutely fell in love and knew that ballroom dancing would be something she wanted to do forever. When the opportunity arose to become a dance instructor at “her” studio where she began, she was beyond excited. Dance has always been the thing that Sarah Kathryn turns to when life tries to get her down. She realizes that we can’t always choose the music that life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it. Her favorite part of being a dance instructor is helping others find their own music and learning to just dance. When she sees that happen, she knows she is right where she is supposed to be doing exactly what she should be doing. Sharing her love of dance with others.
