Karina Vidal – Dance Instructor

Born and raised in Peru, Karina discovered her passion for sports and the arts at an early age. At just six years old, she began training for the competitive world of synchronized swimming. As a teenager, her love for movement expanded into dance, where she found a deep connection to performance and expression.

Throughout her youth, Karina explored a wide variety of dance styles while continuing her involvement in sports—serving as a junior volleyball player and eventually captain of her high school team. Her dedication to physical expression naturally led her to pursue a career in the performing arts, with a focus on theatre, dance, and makeup.

After becoming a dance instructor, Karina immersed herself in the world of ballroom dance, gaining extensive training in American Smooth and Rhythm, Caribbean dances like Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue, as well as popular social dances including Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Country Two Step. Her well-rounded background and passion for teaching have made her a versatile and respected dance educator.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Karina is committed to helping her students grow, gain confidence, and find joy through dance. When she’s not teaching, you can find her spending time with her beloved dogs or enjoying her favorite water sports.
