ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION GROOVIN PURPLE GROOVERS
June 16, 2017
Get your groove on! Join our team for The Longest Day, a day that’s all about love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. On June 21, the Alzheimer’s Association Southern Arizona Regional office (1159 N Craycroft Road, Tucson, AZ 85721) will be hosting music and dance-related events all day long to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
We’ll have 30-minute dance lessons from Fred Astaire Dance Studio throughout the day – starting at 10:00 am, a screening of the 1936 classic movie “Swing Time” and traditional Greek Dance! Don’t want to take a dance lesson, we will have open dancing and refreshments between each lesson! Stop in throughout the day to dance with us, meet our staff and join our effort for a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
