It&#8217;s like an inner-studio competition<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li align=\"left\">Ask your friends, family, colleagues or corporations to sponsor you for your dances<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">There will be 35 Heats of ALL DIFFERENT DANCES @ $30 Per Dance<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">You may dance with any teacher AVAILABLE for that heat, or as an Amateur Couple<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">Heats are available on a first come\/first serve basis, meaning, when you bring in your sponsor money, you can sign up for (up to) 35 entries<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\"><strong>Any student with 20+ entries receives a Free T-Shirt<\/strong><\/li>\n<li align=\"left\"><strong>$30 Per Entry &#8211; Make Checks Payable to Fred Astaire or FADS<\/strong><\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">All entries must be paid in full by November 11<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">A portion of every dance will be donated to the Montclair Human Needs Pantry &#8211; specifically, after expenses, the remaining money will be donated &#8211; this is a NOT FOR PROFIT for Upper Montclair. \u00a0(<em>teachers will be compensated &#8211; Christmas is coming<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">We will run the event like a competition, with NO COSTUMES, except maybe feathers<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">Ask your friends and sponsors to come and cheer you on!<\/li>\n<li align=\"left\"><strong><em>All dancers, sponsors, spectators and other humans will be asked to bring one item for donation to the Human Needs Pantry &#8211; please read the DONATION NEEDS below<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li align=\"left\">IMPORTANT &#8211; there is no minimum &#8211; if you can get one person to sponsor you $30 you can enter one dance! You can also sponsor yourself! Pair up and ask your fellow students to enter with you!<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, I have written an email you can send to your friends and colleagues for your sponsor money. Our diverse client base includes families and singles who are elderly, disabled, home-bound, unemployed, or underemployed (working poor). Eligibility is determined using federal guidelines, which base need on income.&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanneedsfoodpantry.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Human Needs Pantry Website<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Donation needs:\u00a0Please donate healthy (low-sodium, low-fat), non-perishable food, and\u00a0check expiration dates. We cannot give out expired food. Other needed items:\u00a0tall, handled paper grocery bags; diapers\/pull-ups\u00a0(open packs OK) and\u00a0baby wipes;\u00a0unopened toiletries\u00a0and personal-care items (full-size or hotel-size); clean, like-new\u00a0blankets, towels, and sheets;\u00a0dog and cat food\u00a0for our clients with pets;\u00a0Ensure\/Glucerna\u00a0(or similar brands) for the ill or elderly. We will also gladly take NEW socks and underwear (all sizes; adult XXL most needed).<\/div>\n<div>Rule of thumb for\u00a0all\u00a0donations:\u00a0if you wouldn&#8217;t feel great wearing or using it, please drop it in one of the donation bins around town instead of giving it to us.
