The holiday spirit grabs ahold of us and makes us want to (wait for it \u2026) dance!<\/p>\n<p>We want you dancing too at your Fred Astaire Dance Studio of West Hartford. We\u2019ve got a full December of dance, instruction, parties and fun planned for you.<\/p>\n<p>Grab your calendar, take out your smartphone and start marking the dates. We\u2019re offering something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Dec. 6: The fabulous Anastasia Abrashin is here for a day of coaching.<\/strong> She\u2019s a National Theatrical Arts Champion and a Fred Astaire National Rhythm, Smooth, Nine Dance, and Show Dance Champion. This is a learning opportunity not to be missed. Students must book lessons with Anastasia ahead of time through their instructor. Anastasia is also teaching a <strong>Master Group Class on Rumba Technique at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Dec. 10: It\u2019s our Holiday Showcase Ball from 6-8:30 p.m.<\/strong> Please, please, please purchase tickets ahead of time at the front desk. Pricing is $45 for performers, $20 for adult spectators, and $15 for children up to age 12. Prices increase by an additional $10 at the door. This is a potluck event, so we ask that you bring your specialty dish \u2013 gingerbread, mac and cheese, cocktail weenies with horseradish mustard (whatever your heart desires!) \u2013 to share and enjoy with others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Dec. 16: Hide your eyes. It\u2019s the \u2026 Ugly Sweater Party.<\/strong> It\u2019s actually our normal 7:30-9 p.m. practice party, but we want everyone to wear ugly sweaters. We know everyone has one (at least one).
