\"\"<\/a>Sometimes you just feel like partying. We sure do. We think June is a great reason for a party \u2013 or a lot of them.<\/p>\n

You know us \u2013 we\u2019ll be dancing, having a good time, meeting new dance partners and rocking out at the West Hartford studio. We know you \u2013 you\u2019ll be right there with us. So here\u2019s the lineup of fun fiestas:<\/p>\n

On Friday, June 9, we\u2019re going to get a little nostalgic. We\u2019re throwing a British Invasion Party from 7:30-9 p.m. No, this is not a reenactment of the Revolutionary War. We\u2019ll be featuring music from the \u201860s from the bands that made up the British Invasion \u2013 not just bands like The Beatles, but Gerry and Pacemakers, Herman\u2019s Hermits, The Dave Clark Five and so many more. Relive those great memories and see if you can still do the Mashed Potatoes.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s going to send us off to the Regional Dance Extravaganza in Groton at the Mystic Marriott on Saturday, June 10. This event is a Team Match, which means that we will be competing against all the other studios in our region. You are more than welcome to attend to support our dancers. Fun starts at 9 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m., later depending on how creative you are.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re back at our familiar digs on Friday, June 16, for a Divas Live Party.<\/p>\n

We will be featuring music from all the great divas \u2013 Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey.<\/p>\n

Worn out yet? Didn\u2019t think so. C\u2019mon out for the Rock Party on Friday, June 23, from 7:30-9 p.m. featuring rock music from the \u201870s and \u201880s.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll get you in the mood for July 4th<\/sup> on Friday, June 30, with our Red, White and Blue Party from 7:30-9 p.m. Hint \u2013 those might be good colors to wear.<\/p>\n

One other June attraction: Jack Davy will be in the studio for a day of coaching. Students can book a lesson with their instructors. He will also be teaching a Master Class on Lead and Follow at 7:30. It is $20 per person to learn from a man who has been with Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios since 1976 and is the co-author of the FADS advanced bronze and silver curricula.<\/p>\n
