Cha Cha for Charity

Cha Cha for CharityWe know how much good dance does us. But did you know how much good it can do for others?

We’re partnered with A-Sisters Events at the studio Friday night, Nov. 18, and we’d love to have you join us at Cha-Cha for Charity.

This is about helping those in need in our local community. Many of us know someone who has fallen on hard times. Palm Beach County is an expensive area to live and when a life changing event such as illness, death of a spouse or loss of a job occurs, some of our hard-working neighbors can’t afford utilities, a mortgage payment, or car repairs.

A large number of our Palm Beach County neighbors don’t qualify for government assistance or have needs that aren’t addressed by our area’s not-for-profit organizations. These individuals often need only a little help to make it through the tough times.

That’s where A-Sisters comes in!

A-Sisters help fill in the gap for a short-term need so that circumstances don’t spiral into a more severe situation – like loss of home or long-term unemployment. A-Sisters provide financial assistance or donations of services for basic necessities.

We at your Fred Astaire Dance Studio have a great event planned from 7:30-9:15 p.m. There will be a silent auction, group class instruction in different dance styles, a professional dance demonstration, and light refreshments. The price: Only $25 per person and it goes to those in our community whose needs are suddenly more than they can handle.

Come and dance with us, while helping others. You’ll be glad you did. See you Friday night at 7:30 at our studio at 1900 West Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach, Suite A2.
