The City Lights championship, a Fred Astaire Regional competition for the South Florida region, once again provided a wonderful evening of dining, dancing, and professional competition! Our students of all levels competed, and our Formation Team Salsachta competed for the first time!<\/p>\n

Doreen Scheinpflug won Top Female Teacher!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our Professional Couples won both of their Divisions, Closed Smooth and Open Smooth!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our student Andrew Macdonald won almost all his dances and placed 2nd in the International Latin and Standard Championship! He also placed 1st in American Smooth & Rhythm with teacher Doreen Scheinpflug.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our student Anita won International Latin & Standard as well as American Smooth Championship! She also placed 2nd in American Rhythm with teacher Andreas Luetzner.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our student Gwen Davis won all of her open single dances! She placed 4th in the Open Smooth and 1st in the Open Rhythm Championship with teacher Andreas Luetzner (Smooth) & Michael Chaves (Rhythm).<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
