Our studio passionately believes that dance is for everyone! Which is why we are excited to be able to provide homeschoolers with a day full of free introductory dance classes to help students explore the world of dance!
Please note that the classes are free to attend, but space is limited! We have “tickets” available to register your kids for each class they would like to attend. You can register/get tickets at the bottom of this page, or by clicking here!
Homeschooler's Day - Group Class Schedule
- Ballroom for Pre-Teens (10 - 13 yrs) 1 PM - 1:30 PM
Ballroom for Pre-Teens is designed to introduce 10-13 year-olds to the basics of Ballroom and Latin dancing. We will not be dancing with partners in this class.
- Ballroom for Kids (7 - 9yrs) 1:30 PM - 2 PM
This class is designed to introduce kids to the world of ballroom dancing! We will be teaching important fundamental movements and elements from a variety of different dances, rather than specific dances. Kids in the class will not be dancing with a partner.
- Ballet (7 - 9yrs) 2:30 PM - 3 PM
This beginner ballet class is perfect for allowing kids to try this traditional style of dance that is known for its grace, poise, and precision. We recommend wearing ballet slippers or bare feet for this class.
- Ballet / Jazz (4 - 6yrs) 3 PM - 3:30 PM
This class is for younger children who love to dance and are ready for more structured instruction. We combine Ballet and Jazz styles, as many of the skills needed for these two dances overlap! Ballet & Jazz shoes are ideal, but bare feet work as well.
- Tiny Tots (2 - 3yrs) 3 PM - 3:30 PM
If your toddler can follow simple directions (ex: stand on this circle, walk this way), and will be able to dance without a guardian’s assistance, they are ready for this class! This class is centered around fun, music, and movement, while also teaching important skills that can assist them in future classes.
- Ballroom for Teens (10 - 13 yrs) 1 PM - 1:30 PM
Ballroom for Pre-Teens is designed to introduce teenagers to the world of social dancing! We will be introducing the basics of some of our most popular styles of dance. Partners are not required for this class, however we plan to introduce the basics of leading and following. Students will learn about dance etiquette and how to properly and appropriately dance with another person.
