Biography: At 16, Alex started dancing as a student at his local Fred Astaire Dance Studios location. Shortly after starting, he knew that dance was his passion. Alex continued dancing with Fred Astaire until he went off to college, where he found social outing spots to dance at around his university. He continued his training in the college amateur ballroom dance circuit, where he began to compete at multiple national competitions. With his amazing partners, he won numerous awards for various levels and styles of ballroom dancing. He was also able to participate in multiple showcases during his collegiate career, including dancing on a jumbotron at the university stadium, dancing for multiple fundraisers, and organizing different dance showcases and events. Alex now hopes to teach, perform, and compete with others at Fred Astaire Dance Studios so that they can also learn to love dance just like he did.
