Sarah fell in love with dancing in college at age 18 when she started going to a weekly swing dance with friends. What started as a Thursday night dance led to dancing three to four nights a week, dancing swing, salsa, west coast and traveling for dance events. She couldn’t get enough, and after a few years looked for a way to develop her dancing at a higher level. Sarah started out as a student at Fred Astaire Youngstown in August 2021 and became completely entranced by the world of ballroom. She became a Professional a year later to compete with her partner Andrew, and shortly after became an Instructor. She loves using dancing to connect with people on a deeper level, and sharing happy moments in life through ballroom. She can’t wait to see how far her love of dancing takes her and her students!
