Each of us has different ways to boost our energy, especially when we feel sluggish, unmotivated, or simply drained. Through my own experiences, I’ve learned that physical activity is one of the most powerful ways to recharge.

At the studio, we see it all the time—students walk in after a long day at work, exhausted and drained, yet they leave feeling happy and refreshed. Why? Because physical activity stimulates the body, increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the brain. It also releases endorphins, which reduce stress and elevate mood.

And what better way to do it than through dance? Dancing is a fun, creative, and fulfilling activity for the mind, body, and soul. That’s why we always encourage our students to come to their lessons or group classes—even when they feel tired. More often than not, movement wins over exhaustion, leaving them feeling uplifted and energized.

Loving yourself means taking care of your well-being, yet we often forget this. Many of us are so willing to do things for others that we neglect our own needs. But the truth is, we can’t make a positive impact on the world unless we prioritize ourselves, too.

Energy is within you—let it flow and share it with others.

Life is better when YOU dance.

– Sergei Ivanov

Energy Within You What makes us feel alive?
