Anna Trukhan is originally from Moscow, Russia and started ballroom dancing at the age of 8. She felt in love with it right away. She was trained by the best coaches in Moscow, competed successfully and has been decided to make ballroom dancing her profession and the way of life. She graduated with honors from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts and in 2008 started to dance for National team in Belarus. She became National Standard finalist, was finalist and the winner of numerous international competitions and represented Belarus at the European and World Cup. At 2011 she moved to USA to continue her dance career and she started to teach there for Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Ridgefield, Connecticut. With her danish dance partner they became National Professional Danish Champions and represented Denmark at the Europeans in 2012. Anna also became National Professional Rising Stars American Smooth Fred Astaire Champion, World Professional Fred Astaire Ballroom Champion and World Professional Fred Astaire Closed American Smooth Champion. In 2015 Anna became National United States USA Dance Standard Showdance Champion and were the finalist of the National USA Dance Standard Championships.
In 2016 Anna decided to move to Europe to continue sharing her love and passion to european students and to get to them very exiting dance style – American Smooth and Rhythm. Together with her business companion Sergey they decided to open FADS studio in beautiful Gdansk, Poland.
