But these energetic gatherings aren’t just about mastering intricate footwork (though they can help with that), they’re also a chance to join a welcoming community, meet new people, and enjoy an active, social hobby.

Did you know that Ochos Cocktail & Wine Bar hosts a Salsa & Bachata night every Friday? The social dancing session starts at 8:30 p.m. and you can dance the night away until the early hours of the morning!

Looking for a bigger party? Salsa Idaho hosts a monthly Tropical Latin Party at the Knitting Factory Concert House! Grab a drink from the bar, meet other salsa enthusiasts and enjoy the music from professional DJs.

Group Class Series

Want to join the fun but not sure where to start? Salsa is the Summer Specialty Series Group Class at Fred Astaire Boise for the month of July!

This is a great opportunity to learn the Salsa while growing in confidence on the dance floor. By the end, you’ll be more than ready to join Boise’s Salsa scene!

Master the Salsa at Fred Astaire Boise with four group class sessions held throughout the month. We will culminate the fun with a Night on the Town at Ochos, where our very own instructor Lisa Tice will be teaching a class!

July 03 – Intro Session

July 10 – Session #2

July 17 – Session #3

July 24 – Session #4

July 26 – Night on the Town! 

New Student Cost: $99 per person (all four sessions)
