Dana’s passion for the arts has been a cornerstone of her life since childhood, where she engaged in singing, composing music, and dancing. This love for the arts led her to join Fred Astaire Dance Studios, where she committed herself to mastering the world of ballroom dancing, building an impressive career along the way.
With over 12 years of experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Dana has reached significant milestones, including co-owning multiple studio locations. She also serves as a trainer in business development, psychology, and dance education. Dana is highly skilled in all styles of dance and holds prestigious certifications in American Smooth & Rhythm, Alternate Dances, International Ballroom & Latin, and Theater Arts & Exhibition, all at the Gold Level. Additionally, she is a Fred Astaire Certified Fellow Dance Director, a highly respected position within the organization.
For over a decade, Dana and her business partner, Denise Buchner, have successfully owned and operated the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Manasquan, NJ. Dana also co-owns studios in Princeton, Chester, and Bridgewater, NJ, where she plays an integral role in the growth and success of these locations.
With a degree in Psychology, Dana brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to her work, guiding the development of her students, staff, and herself. Her true passion lies in helping others reach their goals and realize their potential. Outside of the dance floor, Dana is an advocate for animal rescue and volunteers as a mentor with the SCORE organization, where she helps small business owners thrive.
