Demolition crews were at the Willowbrook Ballroom in Willow Springs Tuesday, taking down what is left of the historic building after the ballroom was destroyed by fire in October of 2016. The location is being prepared for the Willowbrook Ballroom Arts, Educational, and Cultural Community Center that will be built in it’s place. The Dance Of Life Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing and enriching the quality of life through dance, has purchased the ballroom and will restore and operate it.
