CineCares Foundation Galaween 2015

CineCares Foundation Galaween 2015Halloween means Galaween for the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Burr Ridge. Our fabulous charity Galaween is set for Saturday night, Oct. 31, from 7 p.m. until midnight, at the Cinespace Chicago Film Studios at 2621 W. 15th Place in Chicago.

Burr Ridge Fred Astaire students, staff and owners are doing a flash mob at this charity event of The Actual Michael Jackson Thriller Video Choreography, as requested by our student Hermene Hartman, who is the publisher and owner of Ndigo Magazine owner and the event sponsor.

Our tap formation dancers will also be performing Uptown Funk. In addition, cast members of Chicago Fire are making an appearance with the Fred Astaire professionals and owners. We’re expecting a crowd of over 500 and we want you there in your Halloween costume!

CineCares Foundation was established in 2014 to honor Nikolaos Mirkopoulos and continue the legacy of giving back to the community. Through the CineCares Foundation the goal is to make Chicago a better place for children and their families to live, work, thrive, and play by encouraging education initiatives, scholarships, and programs innovations.

Through this event, the board of the CineCares Foundation will provide resources for children and families susceptible to and/or impacted by violence in their communities. By providing positive alternatives to all children and adolescents, we seek to decrease the amount of violence and negative behavior impacting Chicago’s neighborhoods, and for those without positive options.

Tickets are priced from $150 (plus service charge) and include valet parking. VIP tickets ($250.00, plus service charge) will include early access to the venue, a dedicated VIP Space, premium food, specialty wine and Champagne bar, private restrooms and complimentary valet parking. Tickets can be purchased by going to http://galaween.bpt.me/.

For a great evening of fun, dancing, and Halloween partying that helps a terrific cause, please join us at Galaween on Saturday night at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios.
