Message to the Fred Astaire Dance Studios®Family

To our Fred Astaire Dance Studios® Family:

As the novel coronavirus situation continues to unfold, Fred Astaire Dance Studios® – Herndon-Reston is committed to keeping our studio, team members and students safe. Until further notice, our studio is under a mandatory closure order, as our community works to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

We share in the hope that actions like these will allow us to be back together, dancing and enjoying each other’s company before long. While we are on this hiatus, we’d like to remind everyone to keep their spirits up by practicing their dance steps at home. That way, we won’t miss a beat and you’ll be back in the studio with precise muscle memory. In the meantime, we wish everyone a safe and healthy time away and we look forward to dancing together soon.

And ask us for details about  Fred Astaire Online Dance Lessons, free 30-day access to our video library, and Fred Astaire Dance Studios®  Family First program – a series of fun, free, fifteen-minute dance lessons on Facebook every Monday, geared just for families, kids, singles, & active seniors!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our certified dance instructors and studio team members are here for you.

Sincerely,

Fred Astaire Dance Studios ®  – Herndon-Reston

Help Us Make a Difference!

Please join Fred Astaire Dance Studios®, Advis Inc., Dore Designs, & Dance America in our Million Mask MOVEment™, a fundraiser to produce personal protective respiratory masks for our nation’s healthcare workers & hospitals as they continue their lifesaving work during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Across the country, hospitals are in desperate need of equipment, including protective masks. The masks produced under this program will help extend the life of N95 medical-grade masks (which would typically be disposed of after seeing a single patient). Where there’s an even greater shortage, these masks may be a primary form of protection.

Will you join us? No donation is too small, and every dollar will go towards the production of these protective masks. CLICK HERE to contribute TODAY, and please share this info with your friends, family members, and fellow dancers. Together, we can step up and help our front line healthcare workers – and all Americans.

Your donation may be tax-deductible through the Heritage Dance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
