Anna started her dance career at the age of 6 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia at the dance club “Rainbow”. Singing and contemporary dance were also Anna’s hobbies, but she fell in love with ballroom dancing. Within 3 months she went to her first competition. She was a finalist in competitions of all of Russia and in International competitions in Moscow.
In 2011, Anna moved to Prague, Czech Republic and began dancing with her professional partner and husband Artur Aleksandrov. They won many competitions and European Championships.
In 2015, they were invited to teach at a Fred Astaire Dance Studio in New York. Anna continued her dancing career in the USA and eventually became a Fred Astaire World Champion in American Smooth and Rhythm, Professional Category.
In 2021, Anna and Artur decided to retire from competing together and focus on their studio.
