Whether he’s leading a class or providing personalized instruction, Christian’s engaging demeanor becomes an essential part of the learning journey.
Hailing from Leipzig, Germany, Christian discovered his passion for dance at the tender age of four and has never looked back since. Throughout his career, he has achieved numerous prestigious titles in the world of professional dancing, including the German Ten Dance Championship and the North American Rising Star Smooth Champion. He has also garnered recognition as a finalist in esteemed American Dance Sport Championships. Christian’s expertise extends beyond personal accomplishments, as he has guided many students to achieve remarkable success in competitive dancing. In 2011 alone, four of his students became national pro-am champions. Christian’s proficiency as a choreographer has allowed his students to showcase their skills at the highest level in competitions and showcases.
Christian’s versatility transcends teaching, as he is also experienced in emceeing special events, serving as a judge in professional dance competitions, and coaching leading dance professionals, amateurs, and pro-am competitors in the industry. With a romantic spirit, Christian considers himself a “wedding specialist” and takes great joy in crafting memorable dances for couples on their special day. Above all, Christian’s goal at Fred Astaire Madison is to create a social and enjoyable environment where students can dance, mingle, meet new people, and have an extraordinary time.
