Fred Astaire Cares About Our Community With These Fall Charity Parties

Guest Parties are a great way to share your love of dance with your friends and family. We hold these parties so that friends referred by our current students can come in and try out the studio, but the parties are open to anyone and we welcome everyone! Below are four great opportunities to share the joy of dance with our community, all while supporting amazing charities and wonderful causes!

Teacher Appreciation Party and School Supply Drive – Fri. Sept. 6

We’re having a school supply drive for our teachers and their teacher guests! So invite your teacher pals and let them know about our free dance class and free supplies on Fri. Sept. 6 at 7pm!

This is a terrific opportunity to help our community produce strong, vibrant students and to assist the many caring teachers who often reach into their own pockets to make sure no child lacks the necessary tools to learn and grow.

Please help us help the teachers help the kids. Imagine the smiles you’ll be putting on so many faces.

Here are some heavily requested items from teachers:

  • Expo (white board) markers
  • Copy paper
  • Post-its
  • hand sanitizer
  • Folders with pockets and prongs
  • pens
  • Loose leaf notebook paper
  • Ticonderoga #2 pencils
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Composition notebooks
  • 1 inch binders
  • tissues

Drop your donations off at the studio. Let’s help teachers help their students in need. It’ll be a fun night of dancing too! RSVP on Facebook.

Dancing With the Locals Charity Fundraising Party for the Kiffners – POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE

Our very own Vince and Heather Kiffner are raising funds for Plant City’s Dancing With the Locals. Join us for a special guest party at a date TBD. We want to make Vince and Heather’s guests feel welcome and have a great time dancing and fundraising!

Go Pink Party: Wear Pink and We’ll Donate to Breast Cancer Research – Fri. Oct. 11

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is coming up in October. We’re pitching in to fight this terrible disease.

Every October, we have a Go Pink party for breast cancer awareness here at the Brandon studio, where we have three breast cancer survivors. Each year we rotate and let one of the ladies choose a charity for us to donate to.

This year, our Go Pink party is Friday, Oct. 11. We donate for each student who wears pink to the party to a charity of Joanna Kellogg’s choice!

This party will help a great cause, raise awareness of breast cancer and should also remind all women to be sure they get checked. Early diagnosis helps!

Walk to end Alzheimer’s community event Fri. Oct. 18.

We are welcoming some special guests to our studio on Fri. Oct. 18 at 7pm. The folks from Walk to End Alzheimer’s Tampa will be joining us for a guest party. We want to help them have a fun time dancing, as well as raising awareness and funds for a important cause. Let’s show them how much #FredAstaireCares and how we are the happiest, friendliest spot in town!

Please join us for these amazing parties. They are great chances to come together and reach into our community. Plus there will be a lot of fun dancing!
