Daniel - Owner & Dance Director
Daniel’s love for dance began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong passion and a career spanning over 20 years as a professional dancer, instructor, choreographer, and now the proud Owner and Dance Director of Fred Astaire Dance Studios Carrollton. He brings depth, artistry, and contagious enthusiasm to every lesson he teaches, drawing from extensive training across Ballroom, Latin, Smooth, and Rhythm styles—with a special place in his heart for the Cha Cha, Tango, and Rumba. Known for his ability to break down movement in a way that feels clear, simple, and empowering, Daniel helps students truly understand the mechanics behind each dance. Technique is his superpower, but so is creating an environment full of laughter, encouragement, and “aha” moments, leaving students not only better dancers but more confident movers. His dedication to the studio’s growth, the quality of training, and the progress of every student is unmatched, and he is committed to fostering a welcoming, inspiring space where dancers of all levels can thrive. Nina - Owner & Studio Manager
Nina’s passion for dance began when she was a little girl, training in jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, and more before moving into competitive cheer and eventually discovering her true calling in ballroom dance. With over 20 years of teaching and choreographing experience, she brings both artistry and precision to every lesson. Nina is known for her eye for finesse, styling, and beautifully clean lines, and she loves helping students express themselves with confidence and grace. A natural choreographer, she has a special talent for creating dynamic formations and routines that showcase each dancer’s strengths. Her dedication extends far beyond the dance floor—taking care of her students and staff is her highest priority, and she works every day to ensure that everyone who walks into the studio feels like part of a warm, supportive dance family. Nina believes hard work should always come with joy, and she leads her team and her lessons with positivity, fun, and a nurturing spirit. Some of her favorite styles include Cha Cha, Bolero, and Argentine Tango, and she is committed to making Fred Astaire Dance Studios Carrollton not just a place of exceptional training, but a home where every dancer—brand new or seasoned—feels celebrated, encouraged, and inspired.
Becky - Co-Owner
Becky’s love for music began in rural Oklahoma, where she grew up playing piano and various instruments in her high school band. Years later, that love for rhythm turned into something even more special—ballroom dancing. What started as a fun date night with her husband quickly became a shared passion and a way to connect on a whole new level. Becky’s favorite ballroom dance styles include cha-cha, swing, and foxtrot. Today, as Co-Owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studios Carrollton, she’s dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming space where others can experience the same joy and connection that dance brought to her life.

Anthony Watts is the proud Co-owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studios Carrollton, where his love for ballroom dance shines through in everything he does.
