What I Love Most About Teaching: I love helping people enjoy all the wonderful benefits that dancing provides! From increased coordination, quality time with their significant other, to exercise and plain FUN! I love all the things that dancing does!
Who I Admire Most and Why: My late Mema, she was such an inspiration to me in her generosity and as a business owner. She was always there for me, encouraging and supporting me in following my dreams.
One Thing Most People Do Not Know About Me: My family was in the military when I was a kid, so I moved around quite a bit before landing here in Colorado!
Biography: Lyndsy has been pursuing the arts all her life. She grew up playing piano and won several scholarships that helped her achieve a bachelor’s degree in music composition. She started dancing when she was a teenager and fell in love with it! She started teaching with Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 2009, and continued to teach and perform throughout the years, landing in Colorado in 2014. Her favorite styles to compete in are American Smooth and Theatre Arts! Having the opportunity to open a Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Colorado Springs has truly been a dream come true! She is excited to continue dancing, teaching, competing professionally and competing with her students!
