What I Love Most About Teaching: I love sharing my love for dance with others! To see a student get a move down or shine in a performance warms my heart.
Who I Admire Most and Why: My late grandmother. She was my biggest supporter in following my dreams. Even though she had a lot of personal hardships herself, she put others before herself. Learning from her made me a better person and I’ll be forever grateful for all she has done for me and taught me.
One Thing Most People Don’t Know About Me: I love traveling! I’ve been to 24 states, and my dog has joined me for half of them!
Biography: Don didn’t get into dance until late in high school. Mostly self-taught he spent a lot of time watching videos and practicing in a small bedroom to learn all he could. Becoming a choreographer over the past few years and even winning a few local awards for his choreography. Lyrical/hip-hop fusion, theatre arts and even a few weddings is what he spent a lot of his free time working on and teaching. As the years went on, Don’s love for dancing kept growing and he knew he wanted to keep teaching and making art for as long as he could. Looking for something more grounded and professional he found Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Don is looking forward to continuing learning more about dance and helping students reach their goals!
