Jennifer first learned ballroom dancing in college, when her roommate invited her to a Friday night dance party at the Fred Astaire dance Studios twelve blocks away from their dorm in Manhattan. She fell in love with it immediately. She spent a lot of time learning to dance and putting her new skills to work at dance spots around the city.
She took a break after she graduated college, traveling and getting her masters degree abroad. When she returned to the States she started teaching ballroom dancing here, at Fred Astaire dance Studios in Hanover. This was many years ago, when the studio had different owners. When she wasn’t teaching, she was out on the swing and salsa scenes in Boston.
Life happened and Jennifer got away from dancing, but has recently come back to it, in September 2025. Dance is joy in motion. Surrendering to the music and losing yourself in dance as a way to experience joy like other. Jennifer is thrilled to have the honor of sharing that joy with you.
