You know us. We love to be out and about. Sure, the Sugarland studio is home, but we like to take our act on the road … and bring you with us.
So we invite you to party with us and your friends from the studio at the Summer Social Club Starlight on Saturday, June 15. The event takes place at the Karbach Brewing Company, 2032 Karbach St., in Houston. Festival Games begin at 11 a.m. and performances start at 12 p.m. Wear your best summer attire and have some midday fun! Questions? Just ask us.
Can you channel your inner Willie Nelson? On the road again … Friday, June 28-Saturday, June 29, for Dance Derby at the Marriott City Place, 1200 Lake Place Drive, in Spring. The theme: “It’s an Arabian Night.” Friday’s day event is Pro/Am Smooth Competition. Friday evening is “Night Club” Night and Pro Competition. Saturday’s day shift is Pro/Am Rhythm competition, followed by the evening’s Arabian Nights Banquet. This is a fabulous event full of dance, fun and food. Check with us for more information.
The Dance Derby Rehearsal Potluck at the studio is Thursday, June 27. We kick off the festivities at 8 p.m. Bring a favorite dish to share and come and enjoy the shows.
One other reminder before we get back to the dance floor. We’ve got an excellent series of group classes going and we’d love to have you participate. There’s something every night (Monday-Friday) and something for everybody. The group include:
- Mondays, 8 p.m.: The Art of Communication.
- Tuesdays, 8 p.m.: Argentine Tango Formation.
- Wednesdays, 7:15 p.m.: Jazz Formation.
- Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.: Ladies Rumba Formation.
- Fridays, 6:30-8:45 p.m.: West Coast Swing Workshops.
