You know it and we know it; the holidays bring a wave of parties, and none of us wants to miss a good time.
So we’re going to try to get ahead of the pack with a fun and relaxing evening at the Sugarland studio on Thursday, Nov. 29. We’re having a Post-Turkey Movie Potluck!
Bring a dish to share. It can be one of your old favorites, or something special for the holidays. Whatever you prefer. And while we savor your culinary efforts, we will also watch a classic Fred Astaire movie! Our founder and namesake was quite the Hollywood star and brought his grace and elegance to many films. We know you will enjoy watching the dance scenes!
That fun evening leads us right into the Lonestar Classic, a FADS Texas Regional Event. Enjoy this weekend-long regional competition that includes something for everyone, even non-competitors! Experience two days of the BEST in ballroom dancing, featuring your favorite amateur and professional performers in the Texas region. Events include: Regional Show, Team Match, Proficiency Grades, Competition, Banquet/Dinner, & Ball. Celebrate the Holidays with us!
The particulars: Nov. 30-Dec. 1, at the Westin Oaks Galleria in Houston. Plan on being there – this is just a fabulous time for all involved!
