Alexis started dancing at the age of 4 studying ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. She was also a competitive gymnast for 7+ years. When she retired from gymnastics at 13 she discovered ballroom dance.
She began her ballroom career in Latin. Later she discovered her true passion was in the American styles and went on to win numerous titles throughout the United States during her pro/am career. Her titles include World Champion Smooth, Vice World Champion Smooth, 2x Vice World Champion Rhythm, Vice Champion at US Nationals in Smooth and a finalist in Rhythm. She also won US National Rising Star in both Smooth and Rhythm while placing third in 9 dance.
Alexis’ diverse background helped lead her high school team to 4 state appearances. This experience helped her with teaching formation and showcase dances. Alexis won back to back titles in the Best of the Best Showcase at Ohio Star Ball.
Alexis specializes in Smooth, Rhythm, Showcase and Social dances. She loves to share her creativity, joy, and passion for dance with all her students.
