Aaron started dancing as a bboy in high school with a group of friends during lunch breaks and after school and continued into college, where he would regularly freestyle in "The Pit" at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There, he joined his first official Urban Dance Crew, Moonlight, where they performed showcases at various events and instigated syphers in the middle of the lunch halls. The dance incorportated features from many styles including hip-hop, popping, street jazz, and afrobeats. After graduating, he continued dancing in a post graduate crew and competed in Kpop. He then moved across country to California, where he began his career as a professional ballroom dancer and is now teaching at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Petaluma. According to Aaron, he is a mega dance nerd and on your lessons will exercise not only your body, but your brain too!
