Samir Camacho, a Peruvian national born in Lima. I am a professional dancer with studies in: Natural Sciences – numerous courses and certifications in body anatomy and sports rehabilitation Pedagogy – with a degree in Secondary Education in Natural Sciences and psychopedagogical training, complemented by dance methodology classes Marketing – having completed a digital master’s degree in Digital Marketing and Web Analytics However, my career has been oriented and trained in the teaching field. All my training has been based on both national and international courses, as I have always been known for building my own professional career, constantly improving myself to be able to give my best in the professional field. My passion is teaching, especially dance. Therefore, throughout my career, I have worked in many artistic fields focused on this topic. I began studying to be a science teacher in schools; At the same time, I was taking classes at Qhispikay de Circo Integral (a discipline that would later lead me to be part of a company and also to work as a dance teacher). Likewise, with the help of the Freestyle Certification Program and the D1 Artistic Training Program, I began to develop my dance more professionally. These training programs would greatly benefit me, as they would help me achieve a goal I would have with my dance career: dance versatility. I believe that the more tools one has, the better one performs or the more options one has to perform a task. Although I don’t focus much of my career on “being in the spotlight,” I have had the opportunity to appear in numerous children’s shows, corporate events, and also dance competitions (All Dance Peru 2019, Virtual International Championship 2022, Raymichay 2022-2023 Peru, Freddy Ball 2022-2023, Central Dance Challenge 2023, and NDC Orlando 2023). With the arrival of the pandemic, I saw the opportunity to continue my training and complement my artistic career, taking international training and/or courses in anatomy, dance methodology, and, of course, in the various branches of dance. All this training was rewarded with job opportunities in schools in Lima and also with a scholarship for the “Tu Experiencia Broadway” program in the U.S.
