Ihor’s dance journey began at the age of 7 in his hometown of Poltava, Ukraine, where he also excelled in karate. However, at 12, he made the pivotal decision to focus on dance, and his passion for the art form only deepened with time. By 16, Ihor had already achieved the title of 10 Dance Ukrainian Champion. His remarkable talent continued to shine as he became a European finalist in Latin and a Vice Champion in Standard.
A graduate of Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, Ihor earned a Masters degree in Choreography and Professional Dance. His expansive talents and love of performing extend to theatre, acting and television performances. While studying at university, Ihor also had the opportunity to showcase his versatility as a member of a ballet troupe.
With his immense experience in all forms of ballroom, Ihor is known for his flawless technique, charismatic personality, and effortless ability to share his passion for dance with students of all ages.
After his first year working in the USA, Ihor quickly established himself as a top-tier dance instructor, known for his expertise and dedication. He is highly skilled in the European,Latin American, Rhythm, American Smooth and Social curriculum and has studied with many of the dance world’s most prestigious and highly influential coaches. As an instructor and coach himself, Ihor has guided many students to top placements and championships.
Upon moving to the United States Ihor with his beloved Diana has continued to garner countless top awards including Northeast Dance Sport Championship, Metropolitan Dance Sport Championship, Tri-State Dance Sport Championship, Ohio Star Ball, USDC etc.
Beyond dance, he enjoys playing soccer, watching boxing, and soaking up the sun at the beach.
