Mason McKee began his dance journey at the age of 8, training in tap, jazz, and musical theater. With a strong focus on tap dancing early on, he developed exceptional rhythm, musicality, and performance skills through numerous stage productions and cabarets. His passion for movement and performance eventually led him to discover the world of Ballroom and Latin dance.
Mason joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Virginia Beach in November 2021, where he quickly developed as both a competitor and instructor. Since then, he has earned recognition as a Professional Regional Finalist and National Semi-Finalist, showcasing his dedication and growth within the competitive dance world. Alongside his own achievements, Mason has also guided his students to success as Regional and National Finalists, reflecting his passion for teaching and commitment to helping others reach their full potential.
Today, Mason is thrilled to share his passion for dance with others as a professional instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Virginia Beach. He loves helping students build confidence, develop strong technique, and experience the joy and connection that dance can bring both on and off the dance floor.
