Dmitry Stepanenko is a highly experienced and award-winning professional dancer and instructor. Beginning his dance career at age five he trained with some of Europe’s most highly elite coaches. He holds a Master’s degree in choreography from the National University of Culture and Art of Ukraine.
Dmitry has vast experience as a dancer and carries many outstanding achievements and titles. He holds the title of Master of Sports in Ukraine and holds an undefeated “10-Dance Champion of Ukraine” title from 2008-2011.
Dmitry represented Ukraine in European Championship and World Championship in 10 Dance Professional division. He placed in the top 10 best couples in the world. He also competed successfully in other countries including: Russia, Moldova, Poland, Italy, Austria and Canada.
Dmitry owned and operated two well renowned dances studios in his hometown in Ukraine. There, he trained hundreds of children and adults who share the same goals and ambitions as he.
Carrying this passion to teach, Dmitry came to the United States in 2013 to represent Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Along with developing his students, Dmitry gained recognition by receiving a multitude of awards in various American and International style Pro-Am dance competitions.
He is fortunate to have the opportunity to bring his lifelong passion for ballroom dancing to the new Virginia Beach studio location.
