Jessica Lengenfelder – Owner
Jessica began dancing at the age of 4, and has a dance background of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acrobatics, and hip hop. She took a break from dancing while attending the University of Connecticut, where she received her bachelors degree in child psychology. Jessica started at the West Hartford studio in 1998 where she met and started competing with her husband Clemens. The two took over ownership of the studio in 2001. Jessica retired from teaching in 2004 to begin her new role as a mother. She and Clemens still dance, on occasion, for shows or studio events. Jessica also works in the Fred Astaire Dance Studios corporate office as the Studio Liaison.
Clemens Lengenfelder-Owner, Managing Director, Instructor
Clemens began dancing in Linz, Austria at the age of 15. After completing all of his examinations in dance school, he began competing in major dance competitions throughout Europe including the Austrian Open, German Open, Italian Open, Copenhagen Open, Czech Republic Open, and Blackpool. He was recruited by the studio in 1998 and became the owner with his wife in 2001. During his time with Fred Astaire, he has won numerous New England regional championships as well as top teacher awards. Clemens has a degree in fashion and design from HBLA in Linz, Austria. He works hard not only on the dance floor with his students, but also designing and making custom dresses for the studios competitive students, which he does in his free time.
Boris joins us from South Barrington, IL where he was a teacher with Fred Astaire Dance Studios for three years. Originally from Serbia, Boris competed in International Style in both Latin and Standard. Since in the United States, Boris has competed in Closed Rhythm and Smooth as well as open rhythm in various regional and national Fred Astaire competitions. Boris currently competes and is available for shows with his partner Sonny who is an instructor in the Orange, CT studio.
Ervis Nallbani – Instructor
Ervis is the West Hartford studio’s resident ballet expert. In his native Albania the press called him a, “Wonderful and very elegant dancer that will raise the heart beat of the audience with his soft movements and passionate interpretation. Reassuring everyone that leading it is just simple affirmation”
Ervis began his career at the National State Opera and Ballet of Albania and has trained and toured all over Europe and beyond. In the States, he has trained with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and the Ajkun Ballet Theater in New York City, and with the Arizona Ballet.
Andrea Resnisky – Instructor
Andrea has been dancing all her life. She took a break to attend Southern Connecticut State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy with the hopes to teach adaptive ballroom dancing. Since March, Andrea has received a Para Dance Certification where she can safely teach those who have been diagnosed with anywhere from a physical disability to Autism Spectrum Disorder to Emotional/ Behavior disorder. She believes that the art of dance brings joy into the lives of others.
Andrea loves to share her knowledge of dance and her passion with those who want to experience gliding around the dance floor. Her love for dance expands from social dancing to competitive dancing.
