FREE Public Dance Lessons During National Ballroom Dance Week

To celebrate National Ballroom Dance Week, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Bonita Springs will offer FREE, public professional dance lessons to everyone in our community who wants to take part in our effort to feed the needy. Our studio will host the classes every night from Monday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Sept. 28 at our cozy home located at 25221 Chamber of Commerce Dr, Bonita Springs.

We’re hosting the open ballroom dancing classes to raise money for the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.  Their mission is to lead our community in the fight to end hunger. Serving five counties in Southwest Florida – Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties – the food bank rescues, inspects, transports and distributes donated food and other grocery products to more than 150 partner agencies that provide direct services to those in need.

The FREE public dance lessons are Monday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Sept. 28 at the studio. People of all ages are invited but folks under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Participants are encouraged to give a donation or bring food items, no matter how small. RSVP by calling (239) 949-9680.
