Bio:
Elina Semka started her dance career at the age of 5 in Balabanovo, Russia at the dance club “Gloria”. Within 2 months, she went to her first competition. She is a finalist, prize-winner and winner of the WDSF and WDC competitions. She was also a Finalist of the EADC Championship and in Top 20 rating of Russian couples.
In 2017, Elina began dancing with her professional partner, now husband since 2024, Mikhail Kolosov. Together they’ve won many competitions in Russia and Europe.
In 2023 Mikhail and Elina moved to the United States, and continue showing great results with Fred Astaire Dance Studios and in Independent competitions.
Achievements:
- Champion in Rising Star Professional Latin and Open Professional Latin at the Fred Astaire Cross Country Dance Championships
- Vice-Champion in Rising Star Professional Open Latin at Ohio Star Ball
- 3rd place Rising Star Professional International Open Latin at US Championship
- Finalist and prizewinner of major competitions in the USA
