Bio:
Mikhail Kolosov was born in Kovrov, Russia and began ballroom dancing at the age of 4. He successfully competed in the amateur division all over Europe and earned top awards in International Latin dances. In 2012, he became a finalist in the Russian Open Championship. In 2017, Mikhail began dancing with his professional partner, now wife since 2024, Elina Semka. Together they won many competitions in Russia and Europe. In 2023 Mikhail and Elina moved to the United States, and continue showing great results with Fred Astaire Dance Studios and in Independent competitions.
Achievements:
- Champion in Rising Star Professional Latin and Open Professional Latin at the Fred Astaire Cross Country Dance Championships
- Vice-Champion in Rising Star Professional Open Latin at Ohio Star Ball
- 3rd place Rising Star Professional International Open Latin at US Championship
- Finalist and prizewinner of major competitions in the USA
