Wonderful experience. Me and my fiance came here to learn moves for our wedding first dance. The staff was very friendly. We worked with Juliya. She showed us, with another staff member, a potential dance for my fiance and I. Then Juliya taught us basic steps that could be used in our dance. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us. She was also encouraging. We came out of the lesson feeling like we could learn to dance and have a beautiful dance for the wedding. Definitely going to go back!

I absolutely love this studio & the staff! From the moment my sister & I walked in we felt very attended to & welcomed. We received gift certificates from 1 of our brothers for Christmas for 2 private lessons & a group class. We completed our 2 private sessions this month (March 2026) & signed up for the beginner package (5 private 40 minute sessions). I am very excited to see where this journey of dance takes me. I took ballet, tap & gymnastics as a kid for several years but quit for personal reasons. I've always felt a sadness & emptiness about this. I feel like now I get another chance to fulfill my dream of dance & performing here at Fred Astaire in Garden City. I love Eugene (the owner) Igor (my instructor) & Crystal (front desk). They all made us feel like family already & I look forward to getting involved in all their events they offer! Igor & Eugene are not only amazing at the art of dance but they're so much fun to be around! Igor is an amazing instructor & I feel very comfortable being lead by him. Crystal is so helpful & accommodating & fun too! My sister was instructed by Eugene & loves him & his talent. Did I mention how excited I am to start this journey of dance & performing 😉🤗💃🏻

My sister and I got a gift certificate for christmas, we were thinking about the idea of taking dance classes somewhere. The energy on the actual dance floor and the instructors that surrounded us was magnetic! I worked with Eugene the owner as my dance partner. He was so focused and and engaged with me! I felt so much freedom and excitement to move my body around!! We just bought a beginner package and can hardly wait! Let's do this!
My husband and I had Igor and Juliya as our dance instructors. Both were amazing! They made the lesson fun while teaching us several different dance style. We had a wonderful time and great experience.
Crystal and Julia were fantastic! Both very nice and professional. Julia made dancing feel easy and fun.
