Dmytro Bondarenko is a renowned professional dancer, judge, and coach of World Championship-winning athletes. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Dmytro began his dance journey at the age of six at the legendary “Horizon” studio, under the mentorship of acclaimed coach Alexey Litvinov.
Over the course of his competitive career, Dmytro earned the title of multiple-time Ukrainian Champion, became a silver medalist at the World Latin Championship, and secured victories at the world’s most prestigious event—the Blackpool Dance Festival.
In recognition of his expertise and achievements, he was awarded the First Judge Category by SGOSTU in 2004 and was promoted to the Highest Judge Category in 2005.
Since 2006, Dmytro has been based in Kyiv, where he worked as a head coach. His students have gone on to win numerous national and international titles, continuing Dmytro’s legacy of excellence in the world of dance.
Dmytro joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Greensboro, NC in June 2022 and has quickly become an essential part of the team. The studio is very happy to have Dmytro, along with his wife Olena Bondarenko, who is also teaching at the Greensboro location, and their three daughters as part of our Fred Astaire family.
