Born and raised in Ukraine, Sofiia discovered ballroom dancing at the age of eight — and while it didn’t capture her heart immediately, the rhythm never left her soul. Over time, she found her way back to the dance floor, and what began as curiosity grew into a lifelong passion.
With over nine years of experience in International Style ballroom dancing, Sofiia has competed in numerous dance competitions across Ukraine, earning recognition for her grace, precision, and expressive movement.
As a teacher, she brings both technical expertise and heartfelt artistry to every class. Known for her fluidity, adaptability, and dedication, Sofiia inspires her students to not only master the steps, but to feel the music, connect with their partner, and fall in love with the dance.
Sofiia is also celebrated for her creativity in both dancing and choreography. She skillfully uses styling, musicality, and storytelling to bring out the personality of each routine — adding depth, character, and just the right amount of spice to every performance.
Prior to joining our team, Sofiia was part of the Carolina Ballroom Dance Studio in Greenville, South Carolina, where she continued to develop her teaching and choreographic style. We are thrilled to have her with us — Sofiia became a valued member of our studio family in June 2025.
