Sarah is a Chicago based dancer with over twenty years of training and experience. After a start in classical ballet training, she has studied many forms of dance including modern, contemporary, jazz, American smooth, American rhythm, International standard and International Latin. Sarah has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Arts Management from the State University of New York Purchase. She spent four seasons with the Chicago based modern contemporary company “Nomi” as a performing artist and is currently an instructor, event coordinator and professional competitor with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Her titles include Fred Astaire World Championship Open Smooth Finalist, Fred Astaire National Rising Star Smooth Finalist, Fred Astaire National Closed Smooth Champion, Fred Astaire Illinois Regional Open and Closed Smooth Champion. Sarah loves being able to share the gift of dance with others and help them to discover how dance can positively affect them mentally, physically, emotionally and socially.
