Gerald and Cherry Jamili—known as The Jamilis—have spent more than a decade building their lives around DanceSport.
As Philippine National Champions and former Philippine National Team athletes, they represented the Philippines on the international stage, competing throughout Asia, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Their journey includes national titles, international medals, WDSF competitions, World Cups, the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, and the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival.
But their greatest passion has always been teaching.
For years, Gerald and Cherry have coached dancers of all levels—from complete beginners discovering ballroom for the first time to competitive athletes pursuing national and international goals.
Now, they’re bringing that experience home to Rochester Hills through Fred Astaire Dance Studios Rochester.
Their goal is simple: to make exceptional dance training accessible, welcoming, and genuinely fun.
