Fred Astaire National Virtual Showcase Competition

Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Morristown is gearing up for its next amazing virtual event, the National Virtual Showcase Competition!
Itching to compete but don’t want to travel? Do you love to dance and perform? Have you been working on a new routine but have no one to show it to?

This event offers 3 great ways to dance and compete without traveling away from the studio!

 1) Competition 1 — Showcase your Talents! (Newcomer, Bronze, Silver & Gold Categories) All participants will receive a score critique sheet to aid improvement in future performances. Top 3 winners in each category will be presented during virtual show in December.
2) Competition 2 — Scholarship Division (All Solos, Novelty & Cabaret, Showcases & Formations)

Three top winners will receive virtual coaching sessions from highly esteemed dance council members, along with personal performance notes and critiques.

3) Competition 3 — Grand Championship (All Solos, Novelty & Cabaret, Showcases & Formations — a combined competition of all styles, levels and age categories)

Grand Prize winner will receive a two day package to a Fred Astaire National Competition, the 2021 Cross Country Dance Championships! The Grand Prize winner will also be presented during the Virtual Show in December.

Submission cutoff dates are approaching, so don’t delay! Judging will be done by a highly-esteemed panel of FADS International Dance Council Judges. Judging takes place in early December and all routines will be broadcast in the days leading up to the Grand Awards Show on Friday, December 18th.

Students may enter one competition or all 3! There is an unlimited amount of performance entries per student, and the Sky is the limit!
